Music for Motion Picture - Modern Music - Music Mixer in Stereo and Dolby Atmos
Anthony Rodriguez began his musical journey at the tender age of 9, initially engaging with a drum machine and physical percussion. His journey took a pivotal turn when he learned to play the piano out of necessity at his home church. By the early 1990s, he fully embraced music production, collaborating with local musicians to create beats and musical arrangements that laid the foundation for his future career.
In 2000, Anthony made a significant mark in the industry by producing the soundtrack for BET's Telly Award-winning movie Tangy's Song, which received a nomination at the Cable Positive Awards. His innovative approach continued in 2015 when he released the first Latin-style remix of the renowned Gospel track "Shackles" by Mary Mary. This remix climbed to #1 on Amazon Music and was nominated for Best Latin Song at The Independent Music Awards.
In 2021, Anthony recorded and produced a cover of Killing Me Softly, which achieved #1 in R&B/Soul on Apple Music Portugal, further showcasing his talent. His independent records have consistently performed well on Apple Music, with one particular record he mixed in stereo and Dolby Atmos gaining popularity and being featured on Apple Music's mainstream playlist Mundo Tropical. His work has also been featured on Apple Music’s curated R&B top playlists.
Rodriguez boasts an impressive client list, having performed with numerous Christian and secular artists both on stage and in the studio. His collaborations include performances with Aliah Sheffield, Brenda K. Starr, Mikey Perfecto (known for the CELIA CRUZ hit La Negra Tiene Tumbao), Rene Gonzalez, Samuel Hernandez, Georgia Merry, Charlie Cruz, Srta Dayana, and Jimmy Bosch among many others.
Recently, Anthony has focused on film scoring, providing music for visual media creators. He has worked alongside notable studio engineers, including John Webber at Air Studios in London, who mastered Anthony's re-score of Deliver Us from The Prince of Egypt in Latin Symphony. He also teamed up with award-winning mixer Jake Jackson, who mixed The Plagues, another piece from The Prince of Egypt Latin Symphony.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Anthony has dedicated himself to his studio, initially named Walk Sound Studio. Here, he produces music for films, music publishers, audio post—which includes Dolby Atmos mixing—and various musical productions. His scores and soundtracks can be heard on prominent platforms such as Netflix, Telemundo, Discovery+, Fox Sports, and other major television networks.
In addition to his work as a music producer and composer, Anthony has made a significant impact through his piano program, the AR Piano Workshop, established in 2008. This initiative has mentored hundreds of students both in-person and globally through online sessions, fostering a new generation of musicians.
